For builders

No API? Just build.

A browser that lets your apps use the web however they need it. No more waiting for an API, just build.

A website with no API becomes structured data in your app.

Every format your idea needs

Screenshots, PDFs, video, Markdown, HTML and full archives, each a request away. Pick the output that fits the feature and change it later with one field.

Output formats →

Agents that adapt to the page

Describe what to do, and a navigator clicks, types and fills forms to get there. Layer models, so a small one takes the routine steps and hands a stronger one the hard parts.

Agent navigation →

Turn any page into your data

Give a prompt and a JSON schema, and the page comes back as JSON your app can use. Run the model on your own Ollama server or bring a key.

LLM JSON →

From prototype to business

Build on your Mac, then send the same requests to the ZShot server image. It runs on Kubernetes, Railway and other container hosts.

ZShot for business →
Writing the code yourself?
One API for any language, with CLI and REST examples you can copy.
ZShot for developers →
Use a coding agent?
ZShot gives Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others a browser they can see through.

Questions

Before you start building

Is it allowed to use a site this way?
That depends on the site, so check its terms before you build on it. ZShot follows robots.txt and waits a second between page loads on one host when it crawls. Always respect the people you depend on.
Do I need Pro to prototype?
The free version captures screenshots, rendered HTML and text. Standard adds PDF, Markdown, video and archives, and Pro adds LLM output, navigation, crawls and the API server. Try Pro free.
Which models can I use?
Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek, Groq and more, or a local model through Ollama. See LLM connections.
What happens when a site changes its layout?
An LLM reads the rendered page rather than fixed selectors, so many layout changes need no change on your side, and your schema stays the same.
How do I move from my Mac to a server?
Each flag’s reference page shows its JSON field beside the CLI name. POST the same request to the ZShot server, on your Mac or from the Docker image.
Is it really pay once?
Yes. Standard and Pro are one-time purchases that include updates for the major version you buy.
